We combined Dead Sea salts, French Lavender & Sage essential oils and sodium lauryl sulfoacetate. a new, safe bubbling agent, to create this relaxing, natural product. Mountains of bubbles last as long as you do in the tub, the essential oils gentle aromatherapy treats your body & soul, while the Dead Sea mineral salts help restore the body's natural balance. Each 1# bag is enough for at least 15 baths - 25 if you have a jacuzzi. In a regular tub, use 2 tablespoons, 1 Tablespoon for jacuzzis.
Here in Three Rivers, we have hard water. It was exciting for me to find the new bubbling ingredient: it works in mineral water, it's very mild, and the bubbles don't disappear like other natural bubbles. This is NOT the irritating stuff (sodium laureth ethers) that is in almost every other bubbling product. The Environmental Working Group (ewg.org) did a study across the US and found about 1/2 the bubbling products with sodium laureth sulfate were contaminated with 1-4 dioxane, a class 1 carcinogen in the state of California. In fact, California sued Whole Foods under its Prop 65 Toxic List to get rid of these products from the state, which they did. Amazingly enough, here in CA, if a truckload of Baby Magic shampoo tips over on the freeway, a hazmat crew must respond for clean up! Crazy! Now you know why pediatricians advise moms to limit their kids tub time. Think about this if you're ever given the opportunity to support US safe cosmetics laws.
